Welcome to host1203.co.uk.
host1203 is a service set up by bc1203 (who?) to provide a development and hosting platform for small websites. This website has been put together to showcase this service.
The bc1203 brand has been around since 2001 running their personal web sites. Since 2007 bc1203 has actioned requests from friends and family for help in putting together and hosting their websites, and initially the one platform was used to fulfil these requirements. However as the requests for assistance increased there was a desire to build a more professional side to developing and hosting other people’s websites and maintain the independence of bc1203′s own web presence. So in 2009 the decision was taken to start the host1203 service in order to achieve this separation.
Whilst the majority of the sites run under host1203 are those belonging to friends and family, the service is open to others. Ok so it will not be free, but it will not cost the earth either. Just have a read of the rest of the site, and if you want to do business, get in touch at admin@host1203.co.uk.

Well the next few months look like they might be busy ones. We’re working on two new sites – one for a photographer and one for an artist – so expect some updates soon! Also we’re hoping that 2012 is the year we finally migrate off the Domino platform for the fantasy websites… time...

Following on from the development of sarapreislergallery.co.uk we’ve now launched sarapreisler.co.uk – which is Sara’s website for promoting her own work and not the gallery. We love the clean look and simple design and have also made sure this is mobile-compatible!

Things are still being worked on. Current projects include a revamp of the entire www.fantasy1203.co.uk website and moving this off Domino to the LAMP-stack world and a new websire for Sara Preisler. Expect some proper news in a month’s time.

We have recently upgraded our LAMP hosting, increasing bandwidth 5-fold and disk capacity 10-fold. We have also taken this opportunity to increase the base allocations to each of our hosted sites. For free.
